After moving to the Coachella Valley in 1980, Gilfillen launched his career at one of the most prestigious country clubs in the desert, the Eldorado Country Club in Indian Wells.

Mastering marketing and sales strategies unique to the luxury home market, Gilfillen today divides his workday between The Quarry in La Quinta, where he started in 1994, and at the onsite office at the exclusive hilltop community of Mirada in Rancho Mirage where he has been since 1997.
